Concept :

Peep stands for Positive & Exceptional Electronic Pleasures. The kind of electronic pleasures that rule the most upfront dance-floors all over the world at the moment: the original house influenced beats with a contemporary touch and feel. Formed and shaped by many years of evolving and interacting styles, ranging from house over techno with a twist of minimal and tech-house, this sound combines all for a full effect on the dance-floor and a special kind of feeling in our hearts.

Reminiscent of the past, with an eye on the future, we keep believing in life and music and like to express this pleasure in an exceptional way, with our friends, connected as one, on a universal beat, the beat of house music all night long!

So Peep is very proud to have put together an amazing selection of artists who endorse this genre and feeling perfectly. All the artists on the line-up have been active in the house scene for 15 years and more. Whether it is behind the turntables or in the studio or both, they played a significant role in the past and always looked to the future. And that’s just one of the many reasons they are still very popular today!

Our two head-liners are two huge names that you can find on all the biggest festivals around the world, the hottest places on party-island Ibiza and the best underground spots anywhere … on Peep, they are ours …

Carl Craig is described as a creative visionary, a groundbreaking electronic music icon, an inspirational artist, an esteemed Grammy-nominated composer, a world-class DJ and an ambassador for his native Detroit. Yet the common thread that runs through Craig’s broad musical canon and creative projects is a resounding fascination with futurism. Carl Craig has cultivated a unique path as an artist, guided by his tendency toward forward thinking also in house music. This can be heard in his earliest productions on Planet E as well as his more recent sets with the likes of Luciano, Richie Hawtin & Villalobos and all his works in between.

Germany's very own taste-maker, trend-setter, mover-shaker-extraordinaire Steve Bug is a multi-faceted artist who refuses to back down from the limelight. A dedicated, energetic and constantly surprising talent, Steve is nothing less than an electronic music ambassador, a much-loved spokesman to the people, and for good reason. His Poker Flat label remains one of the biggest house labels ever and has been going strong for almost 15 years now.

They will be joined by Belgian legends as Red D who started out dj-ing in the early ‘90’s and soon made his way to all leading clubs and parties in the country. After launching his We Play House imprint in 2008 his fame quickly expanded abroad and he’s now also a regular guest at institutions as Panorama bar in Berlin and many more.

Resident Spacid also started dj-ing as early as the nineties and mainly as a house dj. before promoting all kinds of underground electronic music and playing more techno. Now that the deep house vibe from the early days is resurfacing in a new jacket, his love for house has been rekindled and the last couple of years he’s stepped up with his house sets again. Expect a steaming fat house set!

Last but not least, Deejames who is an intrinsic part of the Ghent nightlife for as long as we can all remember and had us dancing the night away at famous clubs as Make-Up and Decadance and numerous after-parties and other parties. When he’s behind the decks, the house is on fire.

House music all night long for those who like positive and exceptional electronic pleasures!
