Forum : Producing Help : Prop.Reason Quality Question
hi, i am using propellerhead reason 3, when i finish my track, mixed and not clipping, i export it in wave... then i convert in mp3 256kbps,
but on some installations it sounds low and retired in the background, when i add volume in soundforge it doesnt sound low anymore and its louder, but then i am clipping, and that still do nothing to hear the sounds retired in the background
what plugin should i use with soundforge, give me a name and tell me what to do with it to get it loud and clear before i convert to mp3 ? or just a tip and hint thanks... or listen to some of my tracks and give me some soundforge advice, thanks...

but mixing ain't a bag of trix, it's a skill and not an easy one
a good forum forum with a lot of useful advice and tips is homerecording.be

yeah composing, mixing and mastering are completely different things, but i think there are sites where they master ur track online, thats one of them
www.medwaystudios.com/
im not sure if its safe, never tried out these things, so be aware and dont say it is my fault if u get ripped off :)

but the problem of not sounding right and clipping when it's maximised is a sign that your mix is wrong/could be better. That won't get fixed when you master it, that's up to you while producing I'm afraid.
