Forum : Producing Help : Tracktion 3 on a touchscreen
I want to revamp the cyberpiper concept and have finally decided to move away from my groovboxes and analog samplers to perform my music from a computer (nothing new to most of you:)
But the thing is I want to do it all from a touchscreen, so being an ardent mac user (they do not have a touchscreen mac yet) I bougth an Acer aspire Zseries all in one touchscreen. I did much research on sampler sequencer software, great stuff, but noe of it is adequate for touch screen. The Lemur I found, also different ways to control ableton live from an Iphone or ither touch devices, but not one all in one solution. then I came acrross this:
http://www.mackie.com/products/tracktion3/index.html
I downloaded the demo and it works well, and it does work very well on a touchscreen. It is an old program, the demo version is from 2008, but it seems to run fine on windows 7 64 bit!
any body has any expierience with this software? or any other ideas?

Thanks Jay!
I checked out the links. Of all of those the reactable seems the most interesting for cyyberpiper. But I think for the momment it is a bit unaffordable for me;) but I will keep a watch on it for the future. For now I will stay with the touchscreen and will still investigate other possibilities for software.
cheers
