Jordan Waeles - Remember me ( club fix )

Description

* FIXED LATENCY ISSUES ( had to repost it :( so comments are gone ) *

It was a long time since i wanted to do something with that beautiful "BT - Remember" acapella, now i figured it out ! This is a rather dance track, we could classify it as "eurotrance".
I'm kinda happy about its sound, it's kinda close to pro. I used my JP8080 for the bassline.
Once i finished it, i sliced and screwed some parts to add a little bit of spice...
Produced with FL studio 6, vstis, and fucked up in sony vegas. Thanks to ZARk who gave me the idea of screwing it up by introducing me to the SupaTrigga plugin ( which i didn't used as it's not midi-controllable )
Turn it up !

i dont have any feeling with or for this song. It has this great detroit-style melody which is dark and deep, but it also has these ordinary superficial eurotrance sounds, and this combination is pretty tasteless(according to my taste that is!). It's pretty much the same for the vocal: sometimes it's deep (somehow like Bjork) and sometimes it's so fucking corny...
Another aspect i dont like is the composition. Some parts feel weird, because it's too mathematical (e.g. the first hihat-introduction has no effect).
But keep trying, there are lots of people who buy this kind of stuff!

Yeah, thank you for those comments ! Being commercial is part of the point, i want to learn all those tricks and rules that make the deja-vu effect, all the shit that make it sound pro. You're right it's really mathematical, but most of the time i try to produce plain uplifting trance, and it's all maths and powers of 2 :)

Anyway, thank you for your comments !

pro indeed,still...can be improved,the vocal is very exiting in the high freq,then the quetion rises..is it needed,no!!!

sometimes the vocal aint wright in tone acording to the underlying notes,may be vocode it,would tighten the picture with your detroit stabs;

there are nice combinations,and accents,but overdone imho;

the first half seems "disjointed", as if the timing is off, but the last half rocks
