owen - Take The Time To Think EDIT 1

Description

I changed the bassline and worked on the break , i also added a few changes and new things !

Now this tune i personally like a lot , its not really drum and bass but its breaks are . so i will place it here for now.
my dad played all the guitars in this one , then i added some pianos and violins plus a nice bass .
i am gonna sing on it and clean it up some more too , i feel the break is not clean enough for me yet .
hope you enjoy this one!

nice one...

i like the fact your dad played the guitar. The violin and bass mix very well with the guitar. Not very sure about the breaks. But high potential! just needs some work.

I love the beginning of the song, after its also good but being a bit more repetitive ... but nice one, cheers

i didnt find it so repetitiv, i like the melos, about the breaks, yea maybe could get some more work, maybe a bit of reverb sometimes, and more variation..

great work... sounds very kosher !! nothing to remark ... doesnt fit dnb ..ull get more aprouval from listeners in an other section like contemporary or sound track ..could match a film without any problem ... big up for ur dad :))

to me, some reversed sounds always do the trick, like the rythm a lot, nice guitar melo - sounds a little like a young-metallica-acoustic...
move to soundtrack isn't bad, anything fits here...
you said... i'm gonna sing on it...? maybe i'm a little deaf here but i didn't hear you... i guess it's a future-version-plan?

too bad the end is not worked out as it should with some slow, hesitating final piano-notes.

thanks bram!! , reaman i must say i like the idea of slow notes at the end coooooooool i'll give it a go !
for the vocal well i'm finding hard not to damgage the tune with the vocal , but i am still trying!

A sweet oriental female vocal would fit excellent...Could use a stop somewhere in the middle somehow...Dunno how to put it...It goes up & kinda stays that way for a while...maybe some more variation would benefit that..Anyhow..I hear an excellent composition/idea that is as good as finished, but not all the way ( I know, I'm splitting hairs here ;) )...Could become a super lounge track! And I totally see this work'n as a score, so...Great work!

I like it a lot too :-D I don't really feel as if the song is missing your voice... it's "gevarieerd" enough as it is.

Owen does it again. Man the folder on my hd with your tracks is huge.
Great vibe, just enough variety, good sounds.
Nothing to remark.
I wouldn't sing on it, it's good as it is. (and I tend to like your instrumentals better than your vocal work)
