Description

Again unfinished business ( smells like massive attack ) had some very very very uninspired weeks lately, almost thought i'd better quit producing in stead of irritating myself behind my screen. Bit of a emotional track ( i'm happy though :D ), maybe too much for some people's, it's a very raw version and needs more work ( and inspiration sheisse ) comments or advices appreciated
*edit: added some length, a variation and a part with a piano. I'm doubting a bit about the piano , what do you guys think? ( beats etc don't have much variations now, that's to be changed when the track's finished)

Edit 2 : Finally the final version :D i've followed filmjolk's advice because this song is coming my ears out! And it's a hard job to create some kind of story out of it. I thought if i don't do this this song will never get finished in a lifetime. It still sounds a bit raw, somehow i'm not able to make it sound fluently.. Hope you guys enjoy and i didn't screw it up. Now i can finally get my hands om something else :D

sounds very sigur-ross-like at first. (until the beats start) I like the high sounds! it's a beautyfull intro to something else, not really a song on itself to my feeling. maybe make it little longer and add some second part if you want it as a stand-alone song?

maybe the beats come to sudden (maybe a fade in) i was surprised when it arrived. i like the piano part. maybe you could make a ABA' song, so after the piano the first part of the song would come again but slightly different.

I don't like the synths in de beginning, a bit to sharp to my taste. But I do like the beats.

The piano gives me a sense of arrival, but I think it can use a bit more energy, it sounds a bit dull as it is now (the piano). And maybe introduce it in the beginning, together with the high sounding synths, and then take it out, and put it back in at the end. Just an idea, since you wanted some feedback on the piano.

Sounds quite happy to me actually... Not bounce-up-and-down-happy but certainly not sad... and it sounds very good to me.

hey meutn, to me, your first version was better, if my remember is right, the intro was shorter and there was less fx on them, the emotional side is getting lost in my humble opinion now. I would aslo love the bit a bit higher in the mix...

De vorigen edit deed mij aanvankelijk schriken: sammy man, ge had een rustige tearjerker omgetoverd tot iets hectisch! Maar ik moet zeggen dat het in feite wel iets heeft dat gewaaaaaw. Het maakt het alvast zweven in de lucht ipv drijven op een donker meer (om maar es beeldspraak te gebruiken). Over t pianostukske: tklinkt wel goe vind ik, maar tmag idd ook iets meer vloeiend (ik denk da pianostukskes gewoon ni moeten uitgetekend worden, maar echt live moeten gespeeld worden om in een nummer te passen, maar bon, persoonlijke opinie mss). Alvast vette duim omhoog, mooi werk!
