TheThreatOfDawn - Adding Up To Zero

Description

It’s not really a song, it’s more a wall of sounds… Though not a very high one…. About 10 feet, or at least 10 “melodies” all fitting together one after the other.

It was great fun just jamming the night away on my bass… but by the end, all I got was this rotten feeling that an evening had passed and I hadn’t really done anything useful… So all those melodies added up to nothing, to zero I guess.

The mood of the song is the feeling I get when I take the tram to work and I see all those people!!! Can’t help to think that there’s just too many of us!! But I’m not really eager to quit myself… so cant blame others for hanging around…. Kinda makes me sad that there’s so many people, and so few you know…think of it, some people you see nearly every day on the tram, train or bus, and you don’t even know there names!!! Strange isn’t it?

It’s in ICZ because it’s a lousy recording. Kind of a series of spontaneous takes… not really worth mixing it all down to much… just a rough sketch…

one of your better tracks in the making imho..
just the last part of the vocals doesn't flow anymore, maybe speak that in again....(still i have nothing to say to them)

for the rest i love it

eej cool ideas :) like your sketch, but as you've said: some of the recording could be better and also have to follow Dist about the last vocals and maybe your pronounciation. uppie
