nice piece of music...
although I'd prefer the piano to come back near the end - in a slower rythm and with heavy notes.

Really good work. Very deepfull athmosphere, great transition from the classical to the electronic melody and excellent electronic composition and sound choice. Your music generates a lot of furtive pictures.

aia [be] - 16 years ago

thanks to both of you :)

aia [be] - 16 years ago

@reaman, I did try to do so but the result was not what I had expect. The transition from electronic to classic was not as "easy" as the transition from the piano to the synths.

well thought out !
the atmosphere sounds indeed like a bad trip or so... the moment where you start to 'realize' (which is not really possible of course) alzheimer has taken over your life. sounds really good

nice piece!with those different stages it keeps it interesting.
I feel some honest-ness to it.
cheerz

aia [be] - 16 years ago

@eckhart : In fact, you don't realize it, it falls over you, "paf", like that. That's the difference with the bad trip that you can feel before it comes.

@skip : honest-ness ?

well...true feelings...no bullshit....music that comes from inside

aia [be] - 16 years ago

It always comes from the inside, if it does not, I just can't play a note. If my brain try to take control of my hands while playing on the keyboard, I will not succeed. Music is a strange alchemy.
Thanks Skip ;)

very good compo ...how you evolve from the 'classic' to the electronic ..... impressive

BTW apparently one is aware of Alzheimer setting in, hence the reason for the 'high' level of suicides with early-stage Alzheimer patients ; as with a lot of suicides these are often masked as a car-crash etc...

aia [be] - 16 years ago

Thanks bpolar :)
Alzheimer is a terrible disease.
I was very impressed by the flemish movie and the good acting skills of the principal actor, I don't remember his name (he has also played Daens). That movie was one of my inspiration source for that track.

SpazzMano [be] - 16 years ago

rf061992 [be] - 16 years ago

great track mr Aia.......

aia [be] - 16 years ago

@ skip & Bpolar : Jan Decleir, yes, I remember now :p

@ SpazzMano : The deal was to make the people feel the power of Alzeihmer, from a "normal" and thus "naive" world to an hell of a disease.

@ rf061992 : thanks :)
