Djuna - Altered & Controlled

Description

Acid Trance inspired by Bassline Baby, 148 BPM.

I always have a problem with distortion on acid. I just can't seem to make it hard & tight as I want. Any tips are most welcome!

Not so sure about the bass too, sounds too electro maybe :p

Final version will be longer probably, and hopefully better éékwalaajzd 'n shizzle.
Greeets

*small naptime edit; bass was too loud*

An interesting Acid-Song

kick and basslines are too loud in the 300-600 range, making the sound somewhat boxy. also the lowcut on the percussion is too high, making the percussion very thin sounding.

Shizen is right about the sound remarks i think. besides that i like the dreamy atmo, trancy but, again, with that lovely oldskool feeling.

18" corner @ reggae geel: was me, phazur pointed and told me 'look that's djuna' so i had to say hi :)

considering the distortion: try out phoscyon, has a really great internal dist, or, also fun, devastor, which is a plugin distortion, specially designed for 303, 808, 909,... it's the worked out version of the internal phosyon dist.

grtz!
