u are absolutely right.
This genre needs a funky bassline.
I'm still figuring out where I can do this in the track, gonna let an instrument stop and work the bassline melo further out.

Very funky ;) I'm not too sure about the mixing, I think your treble lacks treble... the drums sound very flat.

hearing the vocal slices at the beginning i thought i'd hear 2step or garage tune :)

not bad but the mix needs some attention indeed... i like the snare sound though.. bass sounds a bit light. i like the composition though, nice one.

now make that 2step remix!

Its good music but by no means deep house. sry mate. if realy wanna make deep house. Just to give an example to all the people here who thnk they are making deep house: listen to something from 8bit rec (marcin zcubala,gorge,gruber&nuernberg).Hear the diffrence? Its Deep but not light. And thats the way it should be. Like i said its not bad music but its not house music. If really wanna make good deep house its gonna take you lots of sweat. What happens to most of people who are trying to make house is either they take another road or start calling whatever house. Dont be one of them. Its nothing personal here its just every time i check the house section its just make me cry. Hope you can proof me that im wrong next time. Keep up mate
