amount of hits doesn't go up if you listen to your own songs as far as i know. and i have them in aiff on my hd, better than the mp3, so why would i. ;)

don't worry, the site is always in my signature and i pass my electrobel 'homepage' to people who want to hear my music. but a lot of people told me they wouldn't wait for the player to load, so for this song i decided to try out if it made a difference if i'd link directly to the mp3. apparenty it does.

that explains why so little people voted for your track ;)

though on the new version of the website that won't get your song in the top10 :)

Wicked beatzzz! But i really didn't feel any melancholy, i guess it misses some '4(beats)x4x2x4' melody changes. What could result in more harmonious melody layering... I dont wanna force u into 'stated logic' but i know it can make all the difference in 'feel'...

the reason the melody changes sometimes are different than you'd expect is because the song switches between 4/4, 3/4 and a combination of both. wanted to experiment with polyrythmic elements. thanks for the comments!

I have to agree with Senna, didn't notice anything relating to melancholy... Barbed wire though, needless to say there was enough of that :).

nice... i like the way you use your effects, they make a real contribution to the melody and the overall mood of the song...used hard yet sensitive...
