bandarlog - Omniscient Oblivion

Description

not sure where to put this... it's not really a full song but more off a intro to a harder (faster) liveset. It's elektro-ish with a bit of a d 'n' b hoover bass twitcj to it.

118bpm

Haaa finally!!!!!! I've been waiting for ages to hear something like this again, very inventive thinking on this one. I just love it!!! It's slow, threatening, with a touch of industrial evil. Even though one'd expect the obvious 80s influences on this one, I can tell you started from an empty sheet...with only your mind as a guideline. If it were nighttime now I'd definitely go crazy. Top stuff! Goes directly into my favs!!! More of this please...

omg nice! :o

some goa influences too (not so hard but ...) melody sounds very familiar. I still love your goatracks the most :) but then again this is a stunning peace of work. congratzzz

wow dudes, never expected to get such good replies, thanks! Rabauw: that is about the most beautiful reply a producer can get man. And yes I will try to produce more of this (getting old and a bit tired of the 4/4 formula)... And ²nd yes, I don't like the nonstopping 80's revival. We've seen so many genres by now it's about time we mix the best pieces of each genre up in one song. 80's sounds are cool, but so are some d'nb sounds, goa, breaks (!!), 90's trance etc. Use the sugar topping of each pie to make the ultimate sweets, no? At least try to...

indeed passionfull and ear pleasing. And i completely follow your way of thinking in mixing the best from all genres from all ages into a masterpiece, only , then it would need a appropriate ending/outro, which i miss here...for the rest: superb
