I'm playing zelda: link's awakening at the moment and I'm feeling totally chiptuned right now. Playing with the idea to try it myself, but the only fear I have is that the sound will be totally getjoept from the skip (and less good too probably). this track illustrates this perfectly, nice to hear some old-skool skipness again. Great dancevibe again!

@HyeVolture:youll be suprised about how different chiptune can sound,youll def. get your own sound if you try.My chiptunesound sounds recognisable out of basic chiptune trust me its possible.the chiptune sound is indeed verry basic and similar but dont let that stop you from trying.

cool one, nice arps. i like the idea omyiga has about the breakdown.
also i do feel that the sound is a bit over compressed on the master, it feels to me as if your drums sounds duck behind the melodies.
i've actually made me a chipper too last day, with only 8 bit sounds for drums from old SNES games, and about 8 toad synth/samplers from the tweakbench. been playing lots of 8 bit flash games cause my video card sucks monkeyballs
