The B-Wave Festival is a festival dedicated to synthesizers: the music & the instrument.
The festival focusses on ambient, drones, space, Berliner schule and chillout music styles.

This year it will take place on November 12th at CC Muze, Heusden-Zolder (BE).

This year's line-up is:

- NOTHING BUT NOISE (BE): consists of (ex)-Front 242 member Dirk Bergen and Daniel B (Front 242), who returned to their original analogue weapons with a cinematic vision.
Their first release “Not Bleeding Red” immediately became a highly acclaimed album and was available on CD and vinyl. Several performances followed in those years and now they're back on the B-Wave stage!

- LIGHTWAVE (FR): They earned a cult following with their fascinating blend of ambient moods, deep space tapestries and textural sound design. Whether crafted with analog modular synthesizers or through complex sample-treatments. Lightwave’s impressive list of collaborators includes Jon Hassell, Hector Zazou, Björk and Jacques Derégnaucourt. Ex-Tangerine Dream Paul Haslinger was even a full band-member at one point. Their very rare concert performances in selected locations are eagerly awaited events.

- SPYRA (DE): Born in the magical year 1964 in Nordhesse, studying ‘the art of music’ in Kassel, Berlin and Warchau, this great performer will be live @ B-Wave. Winner of the oscar for best animationfilm music ‘Quest’ ! Started his musical career in the ’90 he makes new nice ambient, soundscapes and some Berlin School music.

- METEOR MUSIK (BE): Think Sputniks, think analog gauges, think magnetic tapes, think red warning lights… Rough electronics on sparkling beats, this is the era of the Space Race carefully crafted into liquid sound! On board of this space ship (launched from Tsjeljabinsk) are Tim Geelen, Micha Volders and Joeri Wijnants. Visuals by Jaak De Digitale.
