Might be nice to actually get a favourites list, or some votings in that list. Makes searching for the good ones easier.

A best of list is a good idea so if you got suggestions (good ones) name them and I'll (or some other moderator) will make them bold). I've seen some good ones in this list that I use so it's not all grandma's stuff :)) So try them out and let us know!

I definitely agree with the [b]DigitalFishphones - Blockfish[/b] being one hell of a nifty little plug! The Dominion can be pretty useful too from time to time. I'm no big fan of the Kjaerhus stuff though...
I'm also a huge fan of Krakli - Richman, especially the second version (the one that's been linked to), as well as the reFX - Junox2 (razorsharp soundscapes!), And 2 of my other favourites are the MDA E.Piano (mda.smartelectronix.com/), and the Etiquet (V.1) (www.krakli.co.uk/legacy.asp).

I would like to add the Luxonix LFX-1310 (http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1147.html).

I created a tiny VST synth that only uses 2 sine oscillators and a phase distortion module. You can get some pretty cool sounds for dubby tech tracks and also kitsch 80's sounds. It's called "Zoby 4", it's pretty ugly too. But you might find it interesting...

PS : There is another synth on this page but you can forget it because quite frankly, it sucks ;) 

Could you plz make direct links with name to specific plugins in their category (like: phasers)?  That way I can copy paste them directly on the right spot.  And if you use them: review/give some tips or something.
