I tried to make a beat like in this song (Starts 2.04)

But I havent got the right hit for that... I tried using my drums or so, but then it looks like someones shooting somewhere and the sound is just awful!
People examined it and said its a Soft snare layered with a clap or just a snare with heavycompression... Does anyone have this type of hit or can create it to me please? Or how can I do it myself Im really not pro here and cant do it nearly fine on this Pc...

Btw Ill add that I need one of the fast hits you can hear there, not the one clap hit every several seconds, just that fast which you can hear in a beat :)
