Electrobel

Well that's it.

The upgrade took place yesterday ... much longer than what was expected. ..

The old harddiscs were almost full ( and they were 200gb hdd's ).

So now, thanks to the donations , the server is running with 2gb of ram, and 2x 500gb hdd's.
i'd like to thank all those that donated so spontaneously and allowed electrobel to stay alive.


For those interested in technical aspects ...
it's a Western Digital WD5001ABYS . It's 7200rpm sata2 perpendicular hdd with 16mb of cache.
They are especially adapted for servers and raid configuration.
Unfortunately we cannot put faster hdd's because they do not meet the capacity we need. (besides they cost so much ... )
