Electrobel

When posting electrobel links to facebook, it used to display the same text for all pages.

I've updated that, and it now shows your artist name + song title and song description.
By default it shows the electrobel logo, but if you click on the little arrow to cycle thru the different images your artist logo is in there too :)


This works for links to the song page.

I've fixed the .mp3  posting on facebook too.

so now you can directly post a .mp3 file to facebook and have it use their integrated flash player.
just copy the "save" button's link  and paste it on your facebook wall.

Electrobel may login as one of my Pages

About Me, Birthday and Website


Am I the only one that finds giving this much information electrobel odd?
I never came across an application that requested so much information.
This does put me off to allow the request, witch is to bad because the idea is very lovely

but to answer your question

basic info : thats fb default, we can't request to not have that info
post to my wall : thats to post on your wall when one of your tracks is validated ( they'll be a yes/no option in update this week to allow this or not)
access my data any time : thats to be able to post on your wall once the track is validated.
rsvp : thats in the idea of ebel events, so you'd just click here a "i'm going" and it'll do it on your fb
manage my pages: thats not implemented yet, but it's to allow ebel to post your validated track as one of your pages and not your personal fb profile
access profile : aboutme,birthday,website : thats to autofill your ebel profile with that info.

I see, if you put it that way, though it does come across as a bit abrasive to me.

which part bothers you, i can see if i can lighten things up a bit. tbh it's my first fb integration, so i'm already just happy that it works ^^

no, I understand now as to why you need these permissions.
this info clears things up, but maybe give people a little heads up :)
