dreamy atmos, good...

benga [be] - 18 years ago

Nice ambiance, smooth beat, dreamy atmos indeed. Personally I would have seen more progression in the track. In my mind the track loses a bit interest after 2 min : the second half is just a repetition of the melo and the beat. Why note make some beat and melo variations from that moment ? Just my thoughts ;-)

gozno [be] - 18 years ago

eckhart [be] - 18 years ago

nice work.. but a bit empty i think an uplifting string-melody would be nice! and i'd do something more with that extra snare. nice start tho

Swan [be] - 17 years ago

this deseves to be in the top 50!!!!

Swan [be] - 17 years ago

hehe

i agree with people saying it neeeds something more tho, like at the 1.55 mark. some strings?

Swan [be] - 17 years ago

maybe a voice or some spoken words? tricky to include tho

strekie [be] - 17 years ago

you are absolutely right. i always have too little elements in my songs, but for playing live that s not much of a problem, people don t seem to hear

Swan [be] - 17 years ago

what you could do is adding simple noises and modulate them, like white noise and play with cutoof, that'll make a nice wind feeling and will add some desolate feeling to the track

Swan [be] - 17 years ago

*desolation effect*

strekie [be] - 17 years ago

true..
but this song comes from a time where i used too much presets...
my new live will include more self designed sounds

Swan [be] - 17 years ago

what shall I comment about?

The song or the comment section?????

I go for the music:

coz the music is beautifull... I think its coz of you Strekie that I started listening idm from time to time.

Erophin [be] - 17 years ago

nice one ! it sounds like track 5 of album 'ae' from autechre...

Doorchaser [be] - 17 years ago

I think that album is called "incunabula" and yeh I totally get into the nineties vibe of this song and AE

hosmOz [be] - 17 years ago

i really miss some work on the beat, some groove on it...i know this is not the point of the track but it could give a higher sensitive feeling...
great strekie keep working :)

Skip [be] - 16 years ago

I have lots of respect for people who can translate emotions into music. To be precise, that is deeper ,more personal,hidden-like emotions.
I think that has something verry honest and beautifull.
About the beatwork...pffft,this is one of those typical cases where you could or should make a variation or remix, but it sounds finished in my ears.So...
Im glad I checked your stuff man! Im happy to've found another "goldmine" artist.really.
yessssss!
