SkepsisAkaBaart - Red rat hugo

Description

Deticated to Hugo, a nice hippie I once met in some bushes in Ghent, looking for some kind of treasure. Still meeting him at parties all over the country eversince, still looking for treasures and hating comunism.

Wouldn't really call it rave, would't call it drum and bass and wouldn't call it hardtek. Would call it a mixture between all of them, altough that's what a tried to achieve. Still working on it, but some feedback could be really useful. Thanks everyone!

great mixture of styles you got here; dunno if it would do for you, but a guud amen her and der good spice it up, a reece maybe? or one measure of 4 extreme dirty kicks as a variation, not really a tek thing but since your cross-styling allready...
looking forward to the finished piece ;)

tried all 3 of your proposals already, the only thing I might use is a reece. Distorted kicks don't really match with the whole pack, and I'm not really sure about using amens on this one... thanks however for the tips!

heh no problem, just a couple of things that poped into my mind, got the whole kick idea from the x&trick track "gent". has a great impact on the song...
and what about some background chiptune shit?

baart [be] - 16 years ago

wow, got that x&trick comment too from someone yesterday, nice to hear that! maybe i'll search for some other kicks, or make one myself with the 3xosc these days, because I almost tried each extreme kick in my sample libary, non of them suits the song. And chiptune... indeed, maybe that's worth the try, never tried that before. thanks again man, such comments always come in handy!

mjam
sounds like my kinda muze....
guuud sound quality aswell... i would add some rollin, sparkling fx here and there, maybe a deep drillin bass...
but then again: loved it as it is, and idd, reminds of x&trick' sound
after second listening: i definatly mis somekind of story, a climax, a break,...

I'm active on the 54 forum, but I'm not a member of the kolaktiv. So, summarized, this song clearly asks for that extra thing... Will work on that guys!

yo moatje,
>> yoooooooooooo fat track keep it upz.
