try ridding yourself of the arpeggiated sequence in your break, that would create the rest and variation you need in this type of track. You could for instance let the bass take over by making it play something funky in the same keys as your arpeggiated sequence. That way it'll still "stick"...
Just a tip, I'm no expert either... I'm just very familiar with the "abandoned track" syndrome ;-)

Reminds me a bit of my first works.
U can add a pad to counter the first melo's or some high notes from another synth can do the trick.
Just listen ur track over and over again and try to match some other sounds on it and experiment.
Sometimes less is more mate, also look at some tutorials for upgrading ur drumwork.
It's not bad but it should pump a bit more, try soeme equalizing and compression techniques.
