this is something quite new for me that i wanted to try out, and i think it worked out pretty well, but i'm not happy about the text , it doesn't fit in

Nice, I really like the string plucks and the drums.
I think the bass is a bit too much. I would leave some space between the bassnotes to make it more rythmic (or sidechain) and turn it a bit down

Right the bass is too loud and could be sometimes shorten/cut like Daravi said, but it's really a good track

I hear lovely elements I think you should start with messing around with the structure.. I think for trip hop you could really mess with the buildup.. this is a very progressive song.. a tad too repetitive towards the end..

still many lovely elements in there.. I love the percussion :-)
