just their is an overlapping of frequencies that holds the mix back a bit...

try to alter that and its a winner !!!

or may be it's wanted?

i supose....mr DO-IT compress à mort ..... hehe....

so ! mr Do it can compress more each element and less the master!
i think that will give more punch!
or then using a multiband compressor woud be more efficient!
that only my advize...

Compression not really
I have a version without any compression and the result is not very sensible for the ears
But our two backgrounds lines are effectively a little bit noisy in mid frequencies
But normaly with a good Big sound FACADE
the egalisation can be kicky good
I have made tests with tracks with same frequencies curves

Super début, avec une "vraie" mélodie et des armonies ( de la musique, quoi ! ), puis, plein d'autre chouette idées, le tout avec des sons super graves... Mais le plaisir d'écouter un morceau c'est aussi d'anticiper, de réentendre ce qu'on à assimilé et aimé, avec des éléments en plus. C'est à ce moment qu'on à "la chair de poule" ! Mais ici, on se perd, car il n'y à aucun rappel de rien...
Intro, couplet, refrain, c'est universel, il y a sans doute une raison que l'on retrouve cett structure ou tout au moins des rappels dans toutes les musiques du monde (et cela ne galvaude en rien l'originalité potentielle d'un morceau). Beau boulot quand même.
