this is funny, cause when someone make a great techno track, nobody ll tell him that he s a jeff mills wannabe, when someone make a nice big beat track, nobody tell him that he s a prodigy wannabe, aphex twin almost touched everything in music, and he s the genious of electronic music, i thing he s a model for everyone....so, once you ll take a breaked beat, put a melodies and an acid line on it, you ll always be taken for a aphex twin wannabe???i should directy stop making music, cause i like that kind of stuff, and that music fit totally with the story i like to tell, iam not trying to do as him, it just come like that......this is not my fault if aphex twin is so famous...

have to agree.. mucho songs in idm and electronica, hell, in every music style here on electrobel are often copies of existing songs.. but its good! i mean as long as u pt your own style in it, its acceptable :) look at flashbulb, a perfect squarepusher clone, but i still can enjoy his music, and i'd pay to see him play :)
hosmoZ's tracks are often something u've heared before, but imo better.. it sounds fresh and it doesnt go too crazy, as others would do
im not fed up w this kind of music at all, even filmjolkske makes stuff i heared before ;) man even samforce is a direct copy :))

im gettn pretty sick and tired of people comparing someones music with the biggest names in electronic music,its for making themselves easy I think.A lot of people use AFX Sqrpusher and boards of canada...as a reference.Ok those are BIG names, but there are sooooo many others .Like when someone makes some ambient with a slow beat,->"ow, that really sounds like BoC".I just think those people are not that open minded,tahts a bit sad but what the hell.
