Description

I wanted to make an ambient track again. I think it worked out quite well. I always try to follow Akira Yamaoka's style (Silent Hill series), and I think I succeeded in that. Especially the ambient melody in the second half of the track was an attempt to make it sound like Yamaoka's style.

I'm just a big fan of Yamaoka's music :P

EDIT: the mp3 file has been updated because it was 48000 hz instead of 44100, so it played back faulty. This has now been fixed.

don't have to be competition-minded... you never know if a song could please a lot of users and end up in the "final 5"...

it never hurts to try... (unless you can't handle being last)

Yes me likez this A LOT. I was in the mood for somethin like this. great use of sounds and they all blend nicely together. Especially the part after 2 mins is amazing.

One little advice though. I would've dropped the beat that comes in after 4 mins. It's nicely integrated, but it just doesn't work for me. Just a personal opinion!

Gonna put it in the favs anyway!

Well yes, this is among the better ambient work. Nice, slow build, like it should for ambient, no need to rush. Really liked that part after 4', with the beats, and also the crisp part is neat, gives it an old-school vinyl-feeling.
