LaLuceNazione - Ilaria

Description

this is a soundtrack i made for a presentation i had to do for school. It's about the Italian and US government and maybe also other countries that dumped their toxic and radioactive waste in Somalia during Operation Restore Hope (a mission to restore peace there during the civil war... at about the same time when belgian soldiers tortured somalian people (remember the guy they held above a fire?)) This stuff really touched me, inform yourself, it's horrible... With the tsunami a lot of this radioactive waste came up from the coast where they dumped it and people now still suffer from it...

song is not mixed properly yet;)

Ilaria is the name of a journalist that got killed when she found out about this scandal...

Well, this is cool.
Very smooth nighttime music. Despite the sad topic you're dealing with, the music itself gave me a rather positive feeling. As if you wanted to express hope in terrible times...

As for the mix, seems pretty okay for me, just the sax is way too loud and you need to adjust its level properly, but apart from that pretty well-done, and I'm sure with the presentation it must've made some impact.
Congrats!

nice song! Pan you beat around a little, get a nice open mix, add some variating reverb on sends left and right on the beats(snare, hats) and melodies... just a thought^^
keep up
