secretspeech - Drowning Caspar

Description

This is a beatless song which uses 3 layers of different piano sounds: distorted QChord grand piano, some kind of synth sound on Absynth3 and NDS Elektroplankton delayed by Kaoss Pad 3.
Towards the end I improvise a verse of Daniel Johnston's "Caspar The Friendly Ghost", hence the song title, although the track feels as taken from dusty rehearsal tapes from early Robert Wyatt solo material. Lots of improvisation to be found here!

Super! Low-Fi Tangerine Dream goes Rock. Definitely filmscore compatible - I thought of the drama of "Derrick" and other German Friday night detective dramas which tend to end on a melancholy note. My wife likes the music and said you have a "sweet" voice. A touch of Joe Cocker, I thought.
