yes man, the sounds fit I think. what you have now is a kind of basic concept I guess, maybe add some more instruments? and defiitely let the trumpetmelo vary more than just the one melo: would be nice (I think sax is a good solo-instrument, so you can do a lot with it, but it really doesn't bother, don't really know why you're so affraid of it :) ). I would say: let the bird fly, or in this case: let the lion roar a little bit more (wauw, da rijmt zelfs!)

woot despite my acknowledge concerning dubstep I really think this is one of your best ones. The effect or whatever at 1.36 on the basskick could be repeated more and idd the trumpet melody's very good but could use little bit variation.

This has potential, serious, but the drums still ruin the good concept a bit for me (the hats in particular)

Shoot me if you want, but i think bigger drums would make it a real good track.

don't know what you mean actually. the beats are like basic reaggae influenced dubstep beats (like rusko, scream...) kick, snare and hats, don't understand what's wrong with that. i suggest you listen to some dubby dubstep first and make sure if it's not just te genre itself that doesn't fit you.

Otherwise, I don't really like the melo of your second bassline, but the first one is really cool. And the trumpet could indeed use some more variations...
