euh...this aint exactely chiptune.
(Check out the chiptune description in the chiptune genre section)
I strongly suggest you put the melody with the pad (long notes) just one step up or one step down in the pianoroll.Youll here a big difference.
Cuz that melody sounds totally wrong when it plays together with your first melody.
If you dont hear that it sounds false already, then you still have a lot to learn man.
And the beat is just jump-style,cuz you play the kick together with the snare.
Experiment some more now!
Hope im not being too hard on you but I think I must be honest.
