I would use a kick that doesnt "tik" like that.Try a harder kick.and Idd use a sharper snare.
And try to add some fast hi-hats or shakers.
Also the melody could use even more tweaking on the res,cut and or envelope...
Idd say try that.

the structure of your song is not bad, but i totally agree with skip, get rid of the annoying kick. use a punchy one and add some percussion. well done for a first try!
