Description

Postrock/Ambient, inspired by "New Animals from the Air" of Eluvium and "Untitled 3" of Sigur Rós

It's almost but not entirely finished, some mistakes/gitaarhaperingen enzo

for complete sigur build up i think u can even slow it down just a bit, like 5 to 10 bpm or somethin...especialy the beginning, maybe add some fade out space between the first 10 notes... and then idd, add some subtile fxtjes, soundjes...is onderweg nr pracht track, finish it....traaaaaaaaaaaag beginne, altijd versnelle nr climax, pets, een "meertje", klein after climax-zinderingske, en een outroke, melokes zitte goe, add spetteringskes

sounds great! I would add a subtle delay/reverb on those reversed guitars in the beginning. I love it, great climax!

Skip [be] - 16 years ago

indeed verry icelandic
beautifull mood ...man man man....some evolution in your music again...

!you could automate the bpm,cuz what coleague Akwalek says is a good thought.
So I would try to start at -10bpm and go up until the solo guitar is fully hearable.
Also indeed, one more element would be good.
(little more work on that solo;)but i understand you have to record it doin it live and all...here and there some tones missing,ge weetwel)

"(wich I will never evenaar)" -ok but putting your own twist in it could satisfie you even more.

talent allover

idd nice evolution. But so much and detailed suggestions :p I would keep it like it is, it's great

Omyiga [be] - 16 years ago

^^ thanks dudes
automating bmp enal are things which I would never think of myself, but I'll definietly try it in den edit

and yeah, off course I don't want to copy sigur ros completely é, it's just the buildup structure and the feeling in it that I kept a bit in the back of my mind

leuk nummer... zou t geluid van een kabbelend beekje op de achtergrond geen goed idee zijn? evtl mee beginnen en langzaam uitfaden ofzo?

Wes [be] - 16 years ago

Good ambient is hard to find I think.. but I found some right here! Great atmosphere, good amount of emotion in the track.. I also like the climax. Thumbs up!

very good yes thankyou!

buildup is exactly as it needs to be, very nice and floating!

I do think there is enough contrast in the song. Just compare the first part to the second... even though it comes from a progressive composition I do think it provides enough contrast.

Good moodsetting.

and when you let go of the harsher part to return to the calmer part, it awakens the listener. Nice outro too.
