I always loved horror/survival movies and games. I tried to create some kind of disturbing atmosphere ... as if you know something's not right.

that watery swelling sound absolutely does the trick, it being an unexpected odd and contrasting sound.

I bet you mean the kinda "sucking" sound. Yeah, well ... I find it creepy in a way. :]
