Not bad for your first hardcore, but maybe add some hi hats to fill up the empty spaces, and add some variations to your fx sounds.. pump up the speed and it'll sound a lot different i guess... ;)

build up & idea are nice.
I like it, but It"s not my style of HC
so for me it sounds A bit to trancey.
so I guess that's because your trancey background.
personally I had the same prob, I came from A darkpsytrance background.

But I guess If you keep this words in mind It will be ok
