Le SPECTRE - Le Spectre - A Quantum Nowhere

Description

Wanted to make something synthetic with huge beats and low bass.

Work is still in progress. I thing I leave it for a few days rest.

Any suggestions? Please!

I like when you make some nasty song or noise,.....

Niiice, love the heavy beat!! cool bass
You could play more with the machine-noises we hear in the begin, coz they are delicious!
Don't think the guitar you insert fits very well with the mood...
For me, the 1st minute is the best, and I would do the rest in the same way
But you know, I'm not a pro ;) I just give my opinion
Keep up the good job
grtz

the "machine-noises" from the beginning are not my favorite,,,would replace them with something more threatening..but hey thats me :-) ,,,everything that follows ,especially the beat is very swell, thumbs up :-)

Not bad. I don't think I could dance on this tune, but I definitly see it as soundtrack of "The Experts" ;)

As ZoOIR, I prefer the first part of the track (too chill on the end for me)

took note of that and will think about it.. thanks guys!

i seem to be the exception but i enjoyed the second part at least as much as the first :)
i also agree with zoolr about the guitar-synth though, it seemed to break the atmosphere you had going. still very nice track

hey man - fantastic, I love the sentimental background choiry synth that carries the song right through to the end & what I love best is what starts happening around the 2-minute mark - that's when the song starts feeling like really something. This one really touches me, almost like it's out of Mobyland, no offense... tomix

title is a bit too pescimistic no?

yep it's true that the bassline sounds familiar, nevertheless any ressemblance is undesired... in fact the recipe is very very simple: while using an arpeggiator hit all the black keys at once in two octaves except A# because it doesnt fit the F# pentatonic minor scale :p

yup, nice
good day liquid!

This is very cool man! Only a small detail.. the cymbal on 3:38 is so dry!
cheers!

liquidbass [be] - 13 years ago

good point. Will change that too in V2. Also the reversed cymbal in the first part is at the wrong place.

I really like the scream-like noise the synth makes at the beginning of the song. You should try and keep the mood the song has the first 20 (plus minus) seconds. It felt really creepy and sublime. The rest is not bad, just a bit too mellow for me.
