antares - Power Ranger - Pitch black

Description

Howdie! Back with a brandnew dubstep track (it rhymes so it's true).
It's pretty dark, with hard beats and bass. Bass, atmo and white noises all homemade with massive.
hope you enjoy!

A bit strange but surely enjoyable stuff

indeed, some extra crunch (high freq) through some multi-band distortion like the omicide plug-in, of some guitar amp shiz.
though, I like it as it is, especially the melody of the bass. You rarely hear the actual bass melody (not the filters and stuff) modulate in dubstep.

nice track but imo the bass could use some more low frequencies i think it might make the track a bit more filled and more drive to i guess.

This is what im talking about! this is the shizzle!
I like it! but along with the other commenters i think you should work a bit more on those wobs.
If you made em in massive try to add a dimension expander to make em sound fuller. Also wondering how many oscs you are using cause it seems like you can use a few high toned ones in there along with the low toned one. Either way thats my opinion so you do what you want, i still enjoyed this track!

Very dark...well I mean, threatening that is.

Well yeah the same remark as some of my peers here above, the wobble could have some more crunch/less mono sound. To me it sounds like you're starting your Yamaha engine in the garage....so after a while it kinda started to bug me. Also because I find the wobble to sound a lil' too upfront in your endmix.

But totally dig your fillers and background sounds man, very dark, great soundscape, all well-crafted. I suppose your experience in goa has helped you with this.

Drums sound neat, adequate for this type of music and the drumkit mix is downright top notch! Just think you lack a few cymbals and hi-hats here and there.

Keep on digging mate!

Take the beat, the ambiance, the theme, the litle atmo sounds of this track, get a LINDIEN/BENEDICTUS wobble, more powerfull and trashy than the present one, and you get a massive huge track.

Nice work on each parts, except the wobble not punchy enough imo.
