I like the idea, but it needs more punch. Also a great/wide synth pad (choir-like) would add more dept. Personaly I would give the kick more punch and add some gates onto the bassline(s), and add a great stereo effect pad where you could play around with the cutoff. And try to find the perfect sweet spot for your samples by using EQ's, filters, etc.
