Description

Treatise, composed by Cornelius Cardew, is a work comprising 193 pages of lines, symbols, and graphic music notation, with no explicit instruction to the performer(s) in how to perform the work.

Cardew suggested that performers devise their own rules and methods of interpreting the work in advance, however.

sounds like there were 2 maybe 3 (one short at the end) distinct parts in here. it would be interesting to compare this with someone else's interpretation of that same work of Cardew. though, there seems to be a dimension missing...panning? was this recorded mono or sthg?

It's great, was looking at the pictures while listening to it and I thought I recognise passages and could match them with one of the pictures.
