Bedlam - Sad to Hope

Description

It has been weeks since you've been looking for your lost brother. Following all of the little clues left behind his path, you find yourself inside a dark cave. The ground is wet, the stench makes you nauseous. You eyes barely see what stands before you. Suddenly you hear a sound that came from deep inside the cave; you carefully make your path towards the noise…

As you try to make your way through, you hear your brother’s voice, yelling, screaming for help. You accelerate your pace; you begin to run, trying to follow the echo of his voice. You run faster and faster as he screams louder and louder, your hearth pounding faster and faster.

Then you see him, an evil monster over his agonising body.
The battle begins…

After a hard and ferocious battle, you manage to vanquish the monster.

As you stand victorious, watching it give his last breath, your eyes slowly move towards your brother’s body, laying on the ground, blood flowing all over his gentle body.

It seems time is slowing down, you share his agony, you feel his pain, you stand breathless, you eyes melt in tears. You rush to him and take him into your arms.
As you caress his bright brown hair, trying to make him react, he turn towards you, opens his brilliant blue eyes and whispers… “Stay close to me, please hold me, I feel so weak.” And as your eyes meet up one last time, with one last breath, he holds your hand and says, “I wish you had come a bit earlier…”

And so he fades away, to another world…

======= FRENCH ======

PS: If you have any corrections to make, or part of the text to enhance, do so ! I have to say I was inspired by Resident Evil !
Didn't bother looking for voices or effects, did all myself !

cinema for the ears, to listen in the dark, installed well in an armchair. Travels assured if you are not afraid of the emotions! which hurdy-gurdy nostalgia crossed your mind? emotionnal landscape

Magnificant. Nothing to add, really. Shivers.
