nice idea, but a bit more variation in the beats is needed imo...

bazeline is too present,i hate the padish sound near the end,end composition is not that guud;

but i luved the hi hats,and i dont class this under minimal,but more tech house-elektro;if ya want to make it more minimal,the bazeline should be changed;

if u'll change the baseline, i would make it more a pounding baseline (not long notes but several short notes that fit in the rythm) with a lo-pass-filter (darker sound) on it, instead of a long bright melodic baseline. this will indeed do a lot about the minimal-feeling!

and the pad makes me think ambient,soo

listen to a bunch of minimal first,you should get splendit idea's

I found the first half a little bit boring, but then it becomes quite interesting :) The overall melody is good and especially the rythm is done nicely.

I'm quite curious about your later works :)
