Electrobel

Description

This is a 20' edit of all the remixes present on Shaolin Groove demo CD. It was made for the 'B' side of our later LP edition. These remixes aren't really, uh, remixes. They are live improvisations made like this: 24+ running as a 2-bars loop, and the mixer (a Mackie 8-bus 32) used as a music instrument to mute, unmute, and tweak the different sounds in a continuous jam that went for a few hours and from which the best moments were cropped. Not our best jam, of course, and by far, but you know... the stress of knowing the recorder was recording... ;-) The CD tracks edited in here are: Under The Mills, Low Left Kick, Fighting Machine, Little Morning Star. (Guess why the title Low Left Kick ? Because while jamming we erroneously panned the kick... to the left, and let it lie there)
