antares - Journey of the Soul

Description

New goa song finnished! again my usual style, melodic, pretty oldskool goa. Worked pretty hard on it, again my cpu was ful near the middle :p, but i think the mastering is pretty good. Think it's my best track 'till now, enjoy

Was afraid by the length, but surprised in fact, good evolution... I just miss a climax or something, it's a bit flat overall (but the compo is nice hé)...
Yup

no climax? croler? what are u talking about, there certainly are climatic passages. for me intro was allreddy climax, and the melody's have a oriental caracter, thats how i like goa, like the land of goa ... the mystery associated in the sound and in the cult of goa ... could this be shamanic music for modern times? the tones certainly deliver me the trance ... thats why the number 11 . 33 is okee.
so ... crolerbedo didnt catch the vibe m8 ... but u did it well...
(tantrance like)
sounds like the real thing!

yes, very nice.
i can hear you put alot of work in this one, i like the part at 7.25 most, sounds very oldskool.
Production wise its also good, every sound crisp and clean.
i personally would have made it with a faster bpm, but thats just me :)
nice work!

thanks guys, glad u liked it! about the bpm: i don't like fast bpm, makes this kind of melodic goa to hectic. For dark it's ok, but i don't go above 145 :p

ive relistened a couple of times, finding some Egyptian influence...
I think it was from Phil Thornton or something, egyptian inspired fusion muse...
great song !

antares [be] - 16 years ago

yeah most of my goa tracks are egyptian inspired, especialy the strings :)

crolerbedo [be] - 16 years ago

yeah now that i listen it again, i think my headphones weren't plugged correctly so it seemed flat :))
Now yeah, forget the comment about the climax, I love your bass...
Now i think i caught the vibe ero ;) and i agree on the "shamanic" side of that track, I have hardly felt the same "trance" with other goa track here on ebel..
