sounds pretty FL (to many basic samples)
doesn't sound dnb to me actually...

still: I asume you haven't been producing to long so you'll probably have learnd a lot making this song

some good elements here & there and an orrignial aproach so not all bad ;)

Okay, sorry for the harsh comment there, I just got irritated by the fact that lot's of the dnb around here is just, well, not that good imo...
Okay, about your tune...
First of all the basics (dunno know if you know this and therefor ignored it on purpose...): if you want to make a traditional dnb tune, it should be produced around 170-175 bpm...
Significant to drum 'n bass is the off-beat snare. In a normal 'roller', when the snare hits on a regular base, you should place a snare on the 5th step, the 13th, 21st, 29th, ...
(Your snare is at the 1st, the 9th, ... i think? :-s)
And yes, I know, it can be seen as something 'different', but the way it is now, it's just not dnb... at all.
Then for the sound of the beat: if you would only compare your own work with published records, you would notice there is something very different between your beats, and theirs... no?
First of all layer your beats (use different samples on top of eachother, making a more unique, fuller and most of all nicer sound...) Than equalize your snares/kicks/hihats, and eq' them even more, and more... Cut your kicks on the high end, cut a bit on the lower part (otherwise you'll get interference with the bass synth)... Yeah well, just do something with the eq's, untill you like the sound.
Now for anything apart from the beats: it seems u only have one sample: some mellow synth/string/pad sound... Search for some more...
And most of all, don't forget to add some BASS! (The bass should carry the tune, together with the beats, cause this IS a club-orientated genre, and those 2 elements just make people move...)
Now I'm gonna stop nagging, I just hope you don't take this to offencive... I'm just trying to help you out a bit. I'm not saying 'I has the skillz, I am allmighty or MY tunes KICK ASS', but i DO have knowledge of the theory, and it's a matter of working out that theory in your software...
Aight, I'm curious if you will have read this, and I'm curious about your next dnb project...

cheerz,
'noized
