MazeS - She.Druguser

Description

took the advise under consideration: checked sound sculpture again, changed some stuff, eq'd here and there and tried some compression on the lower frequencies, which worked out really nice on my headphones and crappy stereo on my 'kot'
so a call to everyone with boomin systems: leave a comment on how it sounds over there ;)

planning to add more variation, especially to the end but it's comin closer to the finish now

enjoy

Ok.. heu.. where's dubstep in here ?

is that a serious comment? you really think in boxes that hard? no room for creative interpretation? we give names to genres to categorise what we know, does that mean that everything that doesn't fit exactly in a box is bad?
i could've agreed with an opinion as 'i don't like this' but this comment has absolutely no use

now ease on boys, dubstep seems suited imo...
the song might need some mastering revisions, the whole could be a little louder, also automations on bass and other, fx and some more ingredients might do the trick, good start

hehe aight, that is indeed what i was lookin for, i know it needs some work, i'm in exams atm so only could spare a few hours, i was actually planning to go for this sound and let it evolve to a more 'dubby' flow but that'll have to wait till i've got more time :)
cheers akwa

well
I think it fits the dubstep genre!
You've got bass and you've got slow and heavy beat.....
Dark atmo!
Dubstep is today most open genre. people from every kind of syle are interested in dubstep form techno to reagae, from electronica to drum and bass to hip hop etc
Influences are very very diverse. that's what make the dubstep variety and power.
If dubstep would only be wobble bass it probably would have been called "wobblestep".
So open your minds!

May be you could push it abit louder and eq it abit.
Bu still nice track with cool atmo.
Keep up. thumb up
