very nice track indeed ... like the vocals & the production ...
I would like this to sound more like funk/soul/R&B .. but that's just the old hippy in me ....

some mid to low frequencies are not nescessary in the voice I think [exmpl..."i-in" at 00:51 + 00:52 sounds a bit louder in tone than the rest], and some high freq. should be boosted imo for a fresh voice effect.
Is it possible that there is some "clipping" ? (00:48?)
I hear some effects but sometimes its not clear if its eather fx or clipping.

i like the fx on the voice, would even do more of that :) maybe also try different filters on the vocals for variation. i think it would fit the sound of it.
