Electrobel

Description

Chill song I made while being at home after my motorcycle crash. It's the second of two songs (other is Makina) I put together during that time.
I had to live at my parent's house for 3 months after I got out of the hospital (couldn't walk couldn't move in a wheelchair) and was happy to have my macbook with me.
It survived the crash (it was in my backpack when I fell on my back about 25meters further down the road!!)

It might sound arty farty but i *really* tried to express in this song exactly how I felt after two months of being on serious painkillers, away from my usual environment, HATING the fact that I couldn't do what I wanted to do and learning to walk again with a "titanium" bar and screws in my leg. It doesn't make a person too happy but I did try to stay positive and keep up the hope.
And hey :) I'm back and going strong! With a slight limp, but I heard that's pretty "in" in the ghetto. :p

in other words: pretty personal song, this one. And emotional.

PS: with the metal in my leg in mind (and hating it!) I wanted to get a metal-y sound in there together with a feeling of "bluh" and "grr" but also a wee bit of positivity and no "finished" ending, because that's exactly how I felt, and the story never really felt to me like it has ended...
