first off all - I wouldn't call this track trance.. but anyway ;-)

It takes a lot more to make a track then just a copy-paste of loops (of kicks). I think the best thing you could do is the following; listen to some tracks you really like. Analyze them. Listen to them over and over again. Try to put the structure on a sheet of paper. try to analyze the sound palet and the used instruments/sounds.
Then, take a basic program such as Fruity loops or Reason... and try to rebuild some parts of this track.
It probably won't work the first couple of times... but when you feel you are getting the basics of it, then start on your own productions. But this is a process that 'could' take a long time - depending on lots of factors :).

Thus, I would say - listen, listen, listen é get the basics of a program as reason or fruity loops (if your work with SW)

keep it up,
Edd

Ok, thanks :) (Already use fruity loops, but have a question: is reason better?)

Substantionally yes :) Reason from Propellerheads doesn't use pre-assembled loops. Therefor Reason lets you be creative and build your own song. It means however that you will have to come up with every note yourself. Which makes it much harder to do than with a program like Fruity Loops. But also tons more fun and fulfillment. You'll also notice though that a serious program like Reason doesn't come cheap. About €450. You can buy it in any respectable musicstore or software shop.

Fruity loops is a program as deep and substantial as reason. Its not because the name containts loop that it's an ejay clone. I'd even say that fruity loops can be more complex than reason due to the fact you can use vst and vsti (unlike reason) and rewire it (like reason).

So keep using fruity loops if you like it, it's more user friendly at the beginning than reason, yet as good. Keep practicing, it's really the only thing that matter.

It's clear you've got a long way ahead of you. With this short track you showed you don't really work your song out fine. I guess you made this in 10 minutes and poured it onto the site. I recognize my first tracks and you will eventually reach higher levels. First of all, try to find a better bassdrum-sample. Try to add a bit more to the song. I probably heard only three samples wich is way too few to create a good song. This doesn't mean you have to stuff the songs up with loads of samples but unless you're a pro you can't manage to make a track with three samples. Conclusion: before you drop the tracks onto the site you have to "finetune" your songs.
