Carbura - Spacedreams

Description

Progressive house this one. Used some 90's bass sound with recent spacy synths. Hope u like it. It's intended for a vocal remix later on.

Constructive comments r welcome.

EDIT some melo changes, bass changes drums a little. More fx.

i had to listen 2 times ,to this;and still cant xplain why i dont like it.

this i can tell ya,dont overdo the double clap, and do it in middle of a melody, not at the end to acentuate the start of the melo.well, not the whole song anyway!

i would like to use the word CHEAP

but its a bit better then cheap, the melo's are great, just not the sounds, but its not the sounds i gues, its the effects you diden't use.it needs more depht so it takes me somewhere;reverb -delay

anyway,i tried to xplain how i feel about it,i hope it was constructive enough;it has potential,i tried to hear through the cheapness ,to hear the good elements

nothing wrong with the sounds, but try to make them more liquid, dont tell me,that ya dont hear it.

ex,nice reverb on that reverse cymbal(your trademark),but then, the others melo's stick out of it,cause they are dry,the rest wet.

tranzy-progresive melo's,sound nicer ,when they come from far, somehow liquify the melo's,and ya end up with a nice driven track .

thats my vieuw on this track,details can do much on credibelety;

I thing you have good sound but you complicate to much the Bass line !!! you have good notes but we have always a rupture . juste @ the half of it !!! let the note play or change the end of the passage 2 other notes are beter for this !!!

If you let played 3 time the other notes and 1 times this original notes you give Fuching power to your track !!! i' m sure !!

But now do you understand my bad language !!! LOL

it's not my genre but it sounds very good to me
only thing I would change is: there is that chinese/japanese sounding synthmelody that you make sound like wee-oe-wee-oe-wee-oe-wee-oe... To me it would be better to have a quickly stopping delay rather than to keep the full notes....you understand. Listen around 2'46" till about 3'. You'll here it.

It's cool how you always manage to create uplifting melodies, but i think this one here is a bit too complex to become a hit. Nevertheless, this track is a nice example of how MUSIC can be programmed! Thumbs up!!!

I actually like the first version better because it had a more clubby and house-like feel. This version is more laid back, chilly. Still a great track though! Thumbs up!

yeah, that's because I'm "mr chill" 4 the moment.
