Funky [be] - 18 years ago

Wow! Commercial or not...I think u got some good basics for a killer dancefloor track! Me likes it to! ;) Grtz

Rabauw [be] - 18 years ago

Please don't use those standard claps, make them nastier.

Other than that it's a good track, sound spectrum is a bit thin, but like you said yourself it ain't finished so we won't be too unkind :).
There's plenty of room left for improvement, but I think you know it yourself too.

KapiteinFrigo [be] - 18 years ago

nice base. this song has potential, didnt really sound comercial to me. it will if you add a french chick "singing" something dumb so please dont do that ;) the track needs some more beatwork, but i guess that's because it's not finished. maybe change the clap to a snare, gives more punch. greetz

adio [be] - 18 years ago

nice work!! i agree with frigo when he says a snare instead of the clap can only improve it anyway dope stuff

Kinet [be] - 18 years ago

getting better !!! now a depech mode voice and we have a hit !
:)

I just listend my track in my car Noticed that the claps are too loud and the kick too low. One synth melo must go up in volume and the sweep strong with lfo must me lower in volume Gonna do this later on Damn speakers at home can't refer on them ;-)....

reaman [be] - 18 years ago

i always love it when someone manages to create an eastern melody.
Like the stabs too
not so fond of the claps but they come with the genre...

sounds modern and 80s like at the same time.

icteder [be] - 18 years ago

altough this is not my genre this song suprised me in a very pleasant way.

FabioPersonale [be] - 18 years ago

thnaks everybody for comments Really enjoyed making the track

cestqui [be] - 18 years ago

i luved the chords at the end,funkie..but somehow a bit out of time;also the solo needs to more liquid;i cant follow the METRO AREA idea,but its a bit too elektro for that;

all and all,it quit suit the picture,for the rhythmework..ad a closed hi hat,and brew an ending;

a bit too slow too,to my taste,it would shorten the track a bit,cause its quit repetetive(solo-arpegio);

greetz

FabioPersonale [be] - 18 years ago

Yes c'estqui you're right about a few things like
More rythm like an closed hh for example
About metro area i share you're idea. Imo opinion it's not a great ending but it is an ending. If you've got an idea for a suitable ending let me know my friend ;-)
About bpm It's at 126 bpm I used to work between 120 and 124 bpm Lately i work around 126 bpm Don't wanna go faster as this
About the solo arpeggio Yes it's quite repetitive but if i would have made some variation on it Maybe it would be nicer I also thougt about this but in most of my song my basslines are in the front, now i wanted to make more space for melos and FX.
But as you said i was thinking to change a little with the cuttoff and frequency.
greetz As usual i don't take anything the wrong way about ya comment :-)

Nice how this has evolved.... One of your better tracks imho...Like the whole..Nothing much to say but the fact that some sounds aren't their yet...I guess you should test your work more on other system to find that ultimate sound on your speakers at home... That Funk stab sound is awesome... You could perhaps break the rythm sometimes & buildup with that synth..Anyhow...gonna add this to my favs because it deserves it! Good track! Grtz

Goldfox [be] - 18 years ago

yow dude!! fucking nice track, like the synths, the disco influence. great track! keep going

FabioPersonale [be] - 18 years ago

Thanks funky I know i can't refer on my speakers But it costs a lot of time to write a cd rw and then drive some blocks to hear if my sound is right. I can't go nowhere to test my tracks cause don't now anybodie in my hood who makes music (Waterschei Cité near KRC Genk stade) Damn they lost again this weekend ;-)

bandarlog [be] - 18 years ago

Nice synths! but I didn't like the clap either... I also think it would sound better if you pitch it up 5bpm. Funny to read you do a carcheck too for your songs :)

Keep it up!

FabioPersonale [be] - 18 years ago

Guess i'm gonna get rid of the claps Nobody likes them hahahaaa Ok i'll change them to a snare for my livesets
Ok it's funny to do a car test but it takes a lot of time ;-)

reaman [be] - 18 years ago

about the car-test issue... do it too sometimes but as Rabauw once said... it's far from efficient...

have the same problem here ...

everything i do is done through my cheap headphones - for the rest I rely on FL Studio and Soundforge.

bandarlog [be] - 18 years ago

You have to do a carcheck on top of a monitor (best to produce on those offcourse.), studioheadphone and hifi test... But cartests are (for me) the but one ultimate test (besides playing live, that is the ultimate test). cause it always sounds so crappy in your car. :)

Funky [be] - 18 years ago

I did the car test yesterday with my track, mastered by me, then the same track mastered by cestqui... Astonishing findings: His tracks sounded awesome in my car...my versions sucked big time... And on my crappy desktopspeakers it was vice versa...Checked on other speakers/systems as well...Result: my speakers are no reference at all! I have to get myself some decent moni's and a good soundcard... And i'm gonna hurry up to, because i'm loosing loads of time by trying to finetune the sound and then later on hearing that it still is crap.... Those carradio's with USB function are quite handy for that ;) Grtz
