Reaman - interaction éléctronique (attic remix)

will not explain a thing now.... (except that it contains a sample of a movie, a sliced sample of Plantlife and a loop from a demo cd)

one thing though!
only listen through headphones and eyes closed (believe me)

eyes wide open and on my cheap monitors at work it's also very entertaining ;o)

cestqui [be] - 15 years ago

some static is present in some sample,also in the intro that subb,almost killed my woofer,had to put it so low volume,to prevent damage;

structure is wicked,and melo's etc;but very experimental;

1 thing is for sure,if i had a french teacher, whom i know of he would make this music,i'll be watching my back for him;it must be a crazy mind!!!from me,this is a complement

,keep workin on that sub(low pass filter>hint hint,as a send ,so ya have a return>>eq>hint 2)

nice experimental track Like the parts at about 3m 20 and the most after 4 m 50 nice groove in it. Qua mastering i stand nex to cestqui's comment.
One of your better productions imho

Erophin [be] - 15 years ago

waw, well done! it got some of underworld and futur sound of londen, prefered the last 2 minutes. it could be a soundtrack for some kind of adventure moovie...a simpel running beat and some misty sounds en blips ...totally digged it!

ReftsidelighT [be] - 15 years ago

not my style, but it have some nice parts!!!! indeed the headphone is nice tip :)

reaman [be] - 15 years ago

wow, thanks a lot for all the nice comments...

the static you hear is a vinyl effect i put on it... (that's why it's called the attic remix) maybe it's not the right song to put the vinyl effect on but to me it sounded a little better than without)

the hiss on the first part is due to the fact that i made the sample with a vst... i recorded it an then i edited it in soundforge, because it sounded way too bass so i had to eq.

many of the sounds come from the trial version of the discovery vst...
the demo has this white noise every minute so i had to create the sounds and save them live... it has this nice tuning wheel and a pitchbender tool.

Nice track, reaman,
where comes the Sample/Hold at the end from.
Arturia 2600V?

reaman [be] - 15 years ago

nope, it's the sample/hold preset from the discovery (v.2) vst (see KVR) previous newsletter) that i modulated and pitchbended

icteder [be] - 15 years ago

good.nice sounddesign

rf061992 [be] - 15 years ago

excel! however, too much too large bass... domage, the song would gain
of ecoutability and like says it "cestqui" one could push volume to
the maximum, impossible for the moment. :)

Funky [be] - 15 years ago

Wow shit! This was a nice trip! But those subs were to damn heavy! :) I hope there won't be any after shocks ;) Grtz man!

Rabauw [be] - 15 years ago

Ah, your track must have slipped before my eyes a couple of days ago...

Nice panning on the bass (yes, I'm listening with headphones, Sir).

Nice soundscape you got here, just got a bit distracted by the sample break in the middle, not sure if that belongs there, but I guess you wanted to create a shock effect, right?

The final part with the heavier beat section is quite good.

I didn't experience any problems with the bass freqs as others mug about... sound was good to my ears.

Just that middle break felt a bit awkward, but hey it's Monday :).

kaoz [be] - 15 years ago

really liked the part between 1:54 and 2:49, wouldn't mind that looped 4ever...
nevermind the one thumb down, probably pushed the wrong button...

reaman [be] - 15 years ago
