Nice work! Very depressive and minimal ambiance.
Try to put more reverb.
May be you can find a reel guitar...
grtz .

Beautiful!

this track gives me a lot to think about. I like the hesitating guitarnotes and the background sounds. Everything fits well in the picture! Great job!

dorkbot [be] - 18 years ago

nice athopheric track...

the guitar is a bit to dry and acoustic for me...

image the same track with a guitarsound like in the 'amores perros' theme...

nice!

sorry reaman, I hate saying this to you coz I enjoy most of your songs, but this is not a good track. too repetitive, a terrible guitar, boring shakers, background synths would be better if notes were attached (there are some muted parts between the notes which you should avoid), song structure is unusual (maybe it was intentional, but in any case the ending is bad). positive side: the atmosphere you tried to create (even though in my opinion it could have been better developped) and the sounds of the synths. overall, it just sounds as if done in a improvised rush.

to heatfuse: i respect your opinion, i'm glad you check out my songs, which means you're interested in what I bring. As for the structure.. it's intentionally that way, the comment on the guitarsound is not so correct imho. It's about the best non-live guitarsound that you can find in free software.

reaman...I dont really pay attention as to "how" the song was created (I can only tell you about the end-result). I know that the amount of work one puts in a song is related to the tools he uses...f.e. if you created those synth sounds yourself (no presets) with a couple of free synths, then I will find that amazing (regardless of whether the song is good or bad), but in the end I dont have that info. The guitar is indeed quite good for a free vsti, but it is still far from the real-thing and as it has such a dominant role in this song, it messes it up. love guitars, but dont have recording capabilities and dont find the alternatives (vsti) good enough...so I try to use other sounds and that's the only good advise I can give you for the guitar in this song. greetz!

reaman [be] - 18 years ago

most of the synths I use are synthpresets that I thouroughly modify/modulate, in order to obtain a specific sound that fits the song i have in mind. The perfect free vst for that purpose is Crystal wich I can recommend to everyone. Really superb sounds and very easy to use (allthough it has a million possibilities). It's about the only supplementary VST I use (plus VST's that come along with FLStudio)

Awesome moodsetting in the song! If you know a good guitarplayer, who knows...Might turn out even better... Grtz

hi reaman, nice & smooth job on this one, but i'm asking myself what equipment (or software) u used,i like the guitarish-japanese pluck-thing u used keep it up !! ;-)

fine atmosphere indeed, but i like the way the song is arranged, and structured the most... i feel a bit ennio in it..very nice, and i don't mind your porntech as well; these things are great

thanx to all for the lovely comments - i understand the one negative vote from heatfuse, could the other three give some constructive comment. Wouldn't it be great that if you vote neg. you imperatively have to write a comment too? Not that i can't cope with discontent listeners, absolutely not... but i can't stand a no without a comment. I'm here to learn and if you don't tell me why you didn't like it, even just your taste, i'm nothing with your negative vote.

It's a very dreamlike minimalistic scape...
Although it's really minimalistic, it has a good choice of sounds, a nice but subtle build up...

At the end of the track a guitar plays some small notes, that gives the track an extra edge...

Very good for some late night chilling, a track worth checking, a job well done...
